Located in the idyllic fishing village of Baltimore, the front of the house has stunning panoramic views overlooking Baltimore harbour.
It is a warm and comfortable house within walking distance of wonderful local restaurants and the ferries to the local islands.
This accommodation has been designed with view to creating a close link between inside and outside. The materials and design of the spaces have been carefully used to create cohesion between the outdoor landscape and the indoor rooms of the house.
From the front, magnificent views of Baltimore Harbour can be enjoyed. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very elegant and comfortable and their simplicity creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The interior has an urban and cosmopolitan ambience. The collection of contemporary art confers a special importance, resulting in a high quality and original dwelling by the sea.
Palometta can be enjoyed as a large five bedroom house or alternatively, as two separate self-contained residences, one three bedroom holiday home and an additional two bedroom holiday home. Two bedrooms of the house are located over a kitchenette with bathroom (and shower) and therefore can be separated off, suitable perhaps, for an older couple, second family or occasional guests.
Bedrooms:
The accommodation is enormously flexible and the beds are of a very high quality dressed with high count bed linen. All bedrooms have zip and link beds which can either be two single beds or one six foot bed.Towels and linen are included and changed weekly. All bedrooms contain a flat screen TV.
Sitting Rooms:
There are two sitting rooms within the property each has been beautifully finished in a unique way and bay views and very comfortable large sofas, a working fire place and a flat screen TV. For your additional enjoyment, there is also a Bang & Olfuseon sound system fitted in each of the sitting rooms.
Kitchen:
The large fully fitted Scavolini kitchen with an Aga, Miele appliances and a Nespresso Machine, milk frother and an Icebox TV/Internet, Bang & Olfuseon sound system is ideal for self-catering and perfectly equipped for caterers. There is a large modern dining table, an ideal indoor dinner party venue. Breakfast or afternoon tea can be enjoyed from a more informal & very charming area off the kitchen with stunning views overlooking the harbour.
Under floor heating throughout the home and working fireplaces are a constant source of comfort and warmth during your holiday.
The charming and enchanting port village of Baltimore is only a short stroll away with a local shop, a handful of lively pubs and an array of delicious eateries to satisfy every appetite. Even though the village is accessible by a short two minute walk the house is in a residential area and all bedrooms are quietly appointed. The house is beautifully cleaned before each rental and a maid service can be provided during the rental at guest's own cost.
A catering service is also available by request and prior arrangement and is tailor made to your requirements.
